SATURDAY Workshop 1:
Raising Children as Athletes for Christ
Being an Orthodox Christian is, like St. Paul says, like running the race. Reflect on the ways we as parents can give our children the tools to have the strength, endurance, and drive to be Athletes for Christ.
SATURDAY Workshop 2:
Contributing to the Salvation of your Spouse
Marriage isn't just "happily ever after" – it's intended as a means for salvation for both the husband and the wife. Learn how you can contribute to the salvation of your nearest neighbor.
ACTIVITIES:
Meet&Greet, meals, family free time, family olympics, worship services including Divine Liturgy
COSTS
Weekend Retreat Pricing includes four meals, materials, workshops, late-night chats, and activities Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
- $235 for the first two registrations (eg husband and wife) plus....
$50/child 12+
$25/child 3-11 year
(children 2 and under free)
- Registration price will increased by $50 Aug 15 (final day to register Aug 21)
Saturday Day Rate for families not staying at the Retreat Center (only includes lunch & dinner on Saturday and Saturday workshops)
- $150 for the first two registrations (eg husband and wife) plus....
$26/additional family member ages 12+
$13/additional family member ages 3-11
This unique Day Rate is being offered due to the popularity of our speaker and the space limitations of the overnight facilities. We do encourage families to strongly consider staying for the entire weekend, as it offers much more time for fellowship and a more complete, well-rounded retreat experience.

Lodging Prices
Hotel-style rooms (for up to 6): $99/night (two night required stay)
Cottages (ideal for families with children aged 5+): $50/family/night
Lodging will be assigned in the order that registrations are received, so don't delay!
When you register, you will provide information about your children's ages, as well as your lodging preferences. Within a week, you will receive an invoice via email based on your selections. You may pay this invoice online with a credit card or by check, which you can mail to: Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago, P.O. Box 607, Elk Grove Village, IL 60009-0607
